Old Town Bloom Community Garden Project is decorating the garden to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of First World One.
On Wednesday the 24th October and Friday 26th 11-1pm we will be upcycling plastic bottles to make poppies for our display. So feel free to Join us.
On Friday the 2nd and 9th November 10-12 pm we will be installing any poppies made for the display ~(perfect time to pop by with any that you have made).
On Saturday the 10th November 1-3 pm we will be having Afternoon Tea in the garden and remembering those that served in the First World War ~ all welcome! We will be joined by The Royal British Legion, Rotary Club of Runcorn and Runcorn Women's Institute.
As well as having our marvellous upcycled poppies on display, we will also have some amazing silhouettes from the 'There But Not There' campaign ~more to come on that.
